Frances’ Senior Portraits

Frances’ mother called a few days ago, worried that she had waited too long to get her daughter the Senior Portraits she deserved.  With the deadline less than two weeks from the time of her call, her concerns were certainly justified.  We were able to squeeze Frances in, and promised to get the standard head and shoulders images for the yearbook first, so that if needed, we could schedule more time later to take care of Frances the way she deserved.  Frances and her mom arrived a few minutes early and well-prepared (a great sign, right there, so I was very hopeful that Murphy would take the day off) with several different outfits, to show the many modes (maybe even moods) of Frances.

After talking with Frances and mom for a few minutes, we were sure we had a handle on what they wanted, so we quickly took the yearbook images, then we started the real session, beginning with the “school” background, and easing into different poses, to smooth the transition…

As Frances and mom had indicated that they were animal lovers, we allowed Molly to roam free, and she just had to get into the action (she is such a Ham – we can’t get out the cameras without taking a picture of her, too)…

We then stepped outside, braving the wind and occasional rain, which actually created some wonderful images…
